Oona Tamsyn King, The Baroness King of Bow is a business executive and also a former British politician of the Labour party. She served as Member of Parliament for Bethnal Green and Bow from 1997 to 2005.

She was born on 22 October 1967 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. Currently, she is 54 years old as of 2021.

Family and Education

She was born to Preston King who was an African-American academic and Hazel King who was a social justice activist. Her maternal aunt Miriam Stoppard was a medical doctor and Ed Stoppered, the actor, is a cousin. His paternal grandfather Clennon Washington King Sr. was a Civil rights activist.

She completed her early education at Haverstock Comprehensive Secondary School on Crogsland road in Chalk Farm, London.
